Week 12 and 13

So what is happening with our growing little lady you ask? Well, Annaka has been enjoying using her spoon! She is doing an excellent job and she is so proud of herself and she should be! Those molars still seem to be bothering her here and there which makes for some long nights. Thankfully every few nights she sleeps through the night so we can catch up on some sleep, she is thoughtful.

 Annaka also had her 15 month check up and last set of vaccinations for a few years. She is 50th in height, 25th in weight and her head is in the 75th percentile. I can't believe she is growing so fast! I love when we tickle her and she laughs and laughs. Sometimes she even drools a little. She loves watching Shaun the Sheep with daddy in the morning while the snuggle in the bed. I have noticed that she is starting to loose her sweet little baby smell and getting that kid smell. Annaka has been saying more words and learning to communicate more and more. Even if Ball, Bath, Balloon, Blazer and Back all sound the same. We know the difference and that is all that matters. She hates to have anything in her hair, she likes to feel free is my guess. So if you see Annaka with hair in her eyes I want it to be out of her face as much as you do. She also loves to eat oranges whole, peel and all!

Just love and adore this pretty little girl. She really is a blessing to Kyle and I. We are so thankful that God choose us to be her parents. Not everyone wants to be a mommy and daddy and I respect that but Kyle and I love it we could not be happier. 

Week 11

For Valentines day Annaka received an adorable little outfit from her Grandma Sue. I had meant to take pictures closer to V day but only got around to it this week which happen to be St Patrick's Day. So no green in this house only pink. We did have a play date this week and Annaka did GREAT! She ventured off by herself, feet away from Mommy and even "shared" a few toys. Those bottom molars are looking better and better. I think it's those top ones that are starting to shine!  Annaka is becoming better and better at independent play and understand words. It's really a blessing to be able to watch someone grow to a beautiful little person. We adore this little girl and boy does she know it!

Week 9 and 10

Well, I don't have any pictures from week 9 because we spent most of it crying and yanking on our molar growing mouth. I guess I could have tried to snap a picture, maybe next time. This week Annaka is feeling a little bit better, she is still working on those molars but they don't seem to be bothering her as much. She has been waking during the night again, which makes this mama sad, but also trying to enjoy those late night/early morning cuddles from out growing girl. We switched out her clothes to 18 months, OH BOY! They are still a big but fitting better all the time.
This is one thing Annaka learned this week.

Week 8

Annaka has learned how to climb, she had learned how to climb with assistance and needed help to get down a couple weeks ago. Now she is full blown climbing, so much changes in a week! Watching her master this task has showed me her determination, her willingness to ask for help with she feels in over her head and her boldness. Three things that I hope develop in her and that I hope she does not loose over the years but it only grows stronger and stronger. Love this little girl more and more all the time. 

                                                              

Week 7

So here are a couple pictures of our sweet little almost 14 month old. This week while her auntie was babysitting she braided her hair. Makes her look like such a BIG kiddo. 

These days it's hard to get a pictures of Annaka when she is not moving or sitting still and watching a movie. This is one of those moments. Thanks again Auntie Allison for getting this ADORABLE shot of our sweet little bug. 

This week we had a play date and meet some new friends. Annaka's back gums are also a little swollen so I am thinking MOLARS!!!! We also discovered that she enjoys cheddar cheese! 

Week 6

My sister took this picture last week and emailed it to me. I LOVE it. This is my girl always alert, checking things out and very curious. She makes me laugh everyday. 

Week 5

This week for Annaka: Baby Girl was dedicated at The Rock Church, had a visit from Oliver and his mommy, visited at Grammy Joy's house, had a snuggle day watching Toy Story 3 (was not feeling to good). She has been walking round with a blanket on her head and running into things hehe. Annaka tried a lemon and she loved it! She also has enjoyed carrying around my shoe.

Our daughter is a ton of fun and is always doing funny new things. We just adore her. 

Some things I do not want to forget about my daughter that may change at any time, as most things do.
