24/365 - 30/365

So I missed a few days but I did take a few on Thanksgiving so I posted some extra from that day, is that cheating? Still trying so hard to pick up my camera everyday but not always doing such a good job. I promise that one day I will have more of a variety other than my kiddos, maybe. :)

One Wonderfully Exhausting Week

Dear Thaddaeus,
Today you are one week old. We already love you so much, it's amazing how you have stolen our hearts. You are nursing like a champ and sleeping great. You are a cuddle bug and I love that about you. You make wonderful faces and grunt when you are pooping. You love to watch football with daddy and talk to mommy. You and your sister get closer everyday. Be patient with her, she was so use to having all the attention and now she has to share but I can tell that she loves you. It's amazing how after one week you have already added so much to our lives. We love you sweet little boy and are so thankful to the Lord that He choose us to be your family.

So these are not the best pictures. I am trying to pick up my camera everyday and get them up here. Hopefully once we get into a little more of a routine I have a little more creativity to offer. Also I know it is pretty much just of my children but this is my life and this is what is going on in my life.

I am doing well, Kyle is doing well, Thaddaeus is nursing like a champ and our sweet Annaka is adjusting to sharing her mommy. As soon as I get some time I'll update you more! Thank you all so much for your support and love. It means so much to us to have such supportive family and friends.

Bedtime stories are the best, especially when the stories are from Australia:

Why hello 50mm I missed you!

Coloring has become my daughters new favorite activity. We tried a few months ago but there was more on the walls then there was on the papers. The ISO is too high I think on this photo. I haven't been brave enough to change the ISO on my own. I am still in Auto but after this photo I might give it a try! I think these would have come out a lot better.

So it looks like I missed day 15 and on day 16 I was having a baby!
Stay tuned for last weeks photos!

Happy Anniversary!

Today Kyle and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary! Since my due date was yesterday we didn't make too big of plans. Well I actually planned nothing and Kyle bought me some beautiful red roses and took me to brunch. He also got me a wonderful card, I love cards, more than gifts! Back in August we took a trip to North Carolina to have our little mini getaway. We were also seeing if we could live there one day, so we spent lots of time in the car driving around to different cities. Still not sure if we want to call it home but not out of the picture yet!

I am so grateful for my husband. He works hard for his family, enough so I can stay home with our kiddos. He cooks, very well I might add! He loves and cherishes his daughter. He still can really make me laugh, you know those belly laughs? He is very patient with me and 100% forgiving of all my wrongs. He makes the best coffee for me and gives the best hugs. I am grateful that he is not only my husband but my best friend, the one who I can tell all to and not feel judged. He laughs at my stupid jokes and lets me know if I have food on my face. He is always supportive of my mothering choices and doesn't say a word on the days I let Annaka watch Toy Story and Happy Feet. He changes diapers with out complaining and gives Annaka her bath every night. he is my partner in all I do!

I feel like there is so much more I am forgetting, pregnancy brain. Thank you Kyle for being you. I love you more and more everyday, truly. And I am more and more thankful for you with each passing moment. Thank you for loving me as I am but pushing me to be better and forgiving me when I am not my best. You really are the best example of God's grace in my life.

Happy Anniversary my Love!

40 weeks of baby growing!

So I have never been very good at taking photos of my belly. I just forget or think of it when I have no camera, mostly I just take pictures with out my belly in the shot. Not on purpose it's just how it happens. I feel like I have a few more this time than I did last time. So here ya go, some photos of our little guy growing in the belly!

This first bunch are from the shoot that Allison did of us! I'll post baby shower pictures too in another post!
